Back in 2001 I was in the 10th grade. I distinctly remember being in US History, I think it was 3rd period but I can't be sure. We sat and watched as they looped footage of the building aflame and finally my teacher had to tear us away from the images to maintain some sort of normalcy. He'd promised that we'd end early and see if anything else had happened. We didn't get far into class when another teacher ran in yelling that another plane had crashed into the other tower. Immediately the tv was turned back on and we watched as they looped footage of the second plane hitting the second building.At the time my cousin had been working in New York,[url=http://www.motorcyclejacketmall.com/topichtml/belstaff-man-collecting-dlouson.html]belstaff man collecting dlouson[/url], and we all worried about her. Since they shut down transportation she didn't get home until late. She was luckily unharmed. My other cousin was at the time was living in Pittsburg and we also worried about her safety when it came to one of hijacked planes.I remember going to my next period class, Spanish I. A fellow classmate jumped onto a chair and turned the tv on. We were all watching silently as I teacher strolled into class. Upset, she demanded to know who'd turned the tv on and the kid who'd done it admitted to it. He said something to her about it being important that we watch it, that it was part of history. Now mind you my Spanish teacher was an older Fillipino lady who barely spoke English. She did not agree with his sentiment. She used a ruler to turn it off before declaring that, ��Spanish was more important than what was happening on tv.�� If you knew her, you wouldn't be surprised by this statement.I remember there being days of looped footage on CNN after it had happened and even news reporters telling people it wasn't healthy to re-watch the horrifying images over and over.
