THE SEGi Group of Colleges,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in collaboration with its Indian partner,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], has opened a representative office in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujerat,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], India. This partnership was recently sealed through the signing of a memorandum of agreement at SEGi's campus at Kota Damansara. The agreement was signed between the college's deputy principal (academic) and Engineering and IT faculty dean Dr Wong Boon Kwei and the college's partner in India,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Anand Sandil,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Sandil is designated as SEGi International Representative Office director. SEG International Bhd group marketing senior director Bruce Lim said the partnership would boost Malaysia's reputation as an international education hub. "This is one of the many international marketing efforts to strengthen our brand name overseas. We hope the collaboration will increase the international student enrolment in our campuses." "Malaysia is well known for its beautiful landscape and people and is a prominent tourism destination. Lim said the college had more than 300 hostel rooms reserved for international and outstation students.
