Babies with small feet and walking,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
I was thinking the same. My little girl is the tiniest peanut at 12.8lbs. Perfect in every way just tiny (started out at 4.2lbs). She just started crawling and is starting to pull up to her knees but her legs are like jelly!! But then I think about myself- I started out at almost 9 lbs but gained very slow from there. I weighed 17 lbs at 1 yr but,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I never crawled. My mom said i just stood up at 8 months and started walking across the floor.
My boys walked later- around 14,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].5 months so am guessing my little girl will do the same,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Oddly- teeth was about the same with her like my boys too,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. They got their first teeth on their first bday. She Just got hers at 11 months,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
btw shoes- my boys were very picky about their shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. They wore soft shoes from JC penny's early on,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Any other place- we ended up returning them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. They would be too stiff and too heavy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. They would cry holding their feet in the air.
Then I happened to find these AWESOME sneakers at a babygap store. They were cloth but had a soft flexible rubber sole and they went from tiny early walker all the way up to kindergarten age. Still need to check out baby gap online,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. after mentioned their sneakers to other moms here they messaged me later and said the shoes are perfect,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. So I will definately be looking into them again.
My DD started "walking" about a week ago. She was born on June 10. Walking as in, taking a few steps by herself before she falls down platon her booty! She's not running away from me yet,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], thank god!
She has tiny,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], tiny narrowish feet (like me, I only wear a size 5 1/2). I think she still fits into 3-6 month shoes, even though she's of normal weight (19 pounds)and pretty tall for her age (almost 32 inches, my little giant!).
I was a VERY petite baby, I still am (well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], not a baby) at 5'2 and 105 pounds. In my baby book,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it said I was 16 pounds and 28 inches at a year old. But that's just me.
Meanwhile,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I think my LO's going to be a basketball player,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], LOL! Her daddy's pretty tall (6'2),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but she looks unusually tall because she's not that heavy. Her feet are also so tiny compared to her body. I've never really used shoes on her,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], she's usually barefoot, but she does still fit into her shoes that she wore at 3 months old.
I really don't think small feet in generalwould hinder walking. About a few days before my LO started "walking" she wouldn't even try to stand up by herself and would act like she was freakin' walking on coals each time she'd make a step with my assistance. She definitely had the jello legs, too. If you have any concerns about your own health or the health of your child, you should always consult with a physician or other healthcare professional.
