I am trying to find beautifully crafted,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], durable women's shoes produced from leather that will last for years. I understand this is a tough bill to suit and so i am not limiting this search to any particular type of shoe or price range. For boots,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I typically search for strong welting (Goodyear method) but this really is increasingly difficult to get. I love the look of Frye's but many seem poor quality your money can buy. For example, the outsole and upper are simply glued together in many models (although the engineer boots look pretty solid). For heels/dress shoes, I am thinking about full-grain leather rather than the bonded or "genuine" stuff. I've heard good stuff about Fluevog and Chie Mihara, but haven't investigated them yet. Any experiences? The other brands may have these qualities? Are there high quality men's shoe brands out there which make shoes for women?
My personal favorite pair of shoes in the entire world,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], this pair that there only appears to be among in existence,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], are only a smidge too small. They're 11D, and feet would fit very best in an 11E. That smidge is giving me one mean callous,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but more importantly the widest part of my foot, tipped with this callous, has already worn through the leather lining and can have burst with the calfskin outer basically hadn't caught it in time. So what can I do not to ruin these beautiful, expensive shoes any further? [more inside]

Repairable shoes in NYC
Where can I buy a repairable shoe in Nyc? I just learned that the main reason shoes are so cheap in the usa is,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they're apparently constructed in some manner that makes them impossible to fix. I'm willing to pay extra in advance whether it implies that I can just get new soles sewn on instead of going shoe shopping every year. When it comes to style,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], all I'd like are plain black leather oxfords or derbies, no pinking or toe caps or anything else that would make it harder to polish. If two piece of leather could be sewn together once, why don't you twice? It's not like thread holes need replacing.

Do other countries do this?
Cheap clothing worldwide: OK ads for really low dollar cost clothing which leads to short lifespans for those clothes along with a never ending repeat cycle. Is something other countries outside the US do for his or her garments? Do say German middle-class parents buy cheap items for school or will they buy better grade products and buy them more infrequently? Is the Wal-Mart/Ross/K-Mart junk clothing restricted to the US? Same goes with cheap shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], are the quality shoes found in German or Swiss or French stores better and for that reason longer lived?
