Oroton bags 70pc profit jump

"We had an on-market buyback in place for the last few months and we've just put another one in place for the next 12 months . one of the reasons is for flexibility," Ms Macdonald said.
During fiscal 2008, Oroton's sales rose 11.2 per cent to $122.6 million.
Like-for-like store sales were up 20 per cent,[url=http://duveticaonline.olimx.com/][b]piumini duvetica outlet[/b][/url], with sales for Oroton stores up 17 per cent and Polo stores up 17 per cent.
That compared with store sales growth of 5 per cent for Oroton and nine per cent for Polo in fiscal 2007.
The fiscal 2008 sales improvement came after it closed marginal stores and consolidated its factory channel in the previous year.
While Oroton did not give guidance for fiscal 2009,[url=http://duveticasale.albirank.net/][b]Duvetica Jacket[/b][/url], Ms Mcdonald said she doesn't expect like-for-like sales to repeat the impressive rates seen in fiscal 2008.

"I know a lot of people have noticed a softening in the market well into the third and fourth quarter of last (financial year) year.

She said Oroton might release some guidance at its annual general meeting in late November.
Oroton's earnings before interest, tax,[url=http://duveticaonline.olimx.com/][b]http://duveticaonline.olimx.com/[/b][/url], depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 41.8 per cent to $28.9 million in fiscal 2008 as costs fell.
"Our cost reduction program, which we announced last year,[url=http://www.duveticajacketsjp.com/][b]デュベティカアウトレット[/b][/url], drove total expenses down to 51.8 per cent in fiscal 20008 versus 56.5 per cent of sales in fiscal 2007," Ms Macdonald said.
