The LG VX 8600 is an over achiever that has loads of great features, looks very sleek and delivers what it sets out to.

The VX 8600 is a fully featured phone that is similar to the "Chocolate", but with a very super thin clamshell casing. The VX 8600 is also able to play MP3's which make it perfect for people on the go who do not want to carry a [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] second device. This [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] phone also comes with a 1+ mega pixel camera that I thought took high quality [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] photos and displayed them on the interior screen very nicely. Three other features worth mentioning are the Bluetooth capability, EVDO data technology and a slot to add memory cards for extra storage. The exterior of the phone is beautiful; it is one of the best looking clamshell style phones I have seen. It is black on the outside and has one of the best exterior displays on the market. The exterior display screen can even show MP3 or WMA info when in [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] music mode.

This phone does have a speakerphone, but it lacks the muscle for it to be truly practical. Another downside was although the keypad and interior is designed nicely, the keypad is flat and very difficult [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] to touch text. I made a lot [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] of mistakes texting my friends, so you have to look at the keypad when you text.

Battery and reception is unbelievable. Specs state over 15 days of standby and about 4 hours of talk time. I also had no problems with reception, even in areas that are sometimes spotty.

Overall

One of the tightest phones around; an excellent choice for anyone looking for a higher end phone.
