Donations being accepted for prom drive

He said he hopes to replicate last year's successful drive,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], when he received hundreds of dresses and thousands of dollars in donations.
Rucker, 44, said he recently left his job as an assistant mortician at the Carter-Taylor-Williams Mortuary to pursue his passion of helping young students. He's working to start a non-profit called Helping Youth to the Next Level,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which will continue the prom drives,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], among other projects.
"We have so many kids that have dropped out of school,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and these kids have stayed in school and done what's right,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and for them not to enjoy their senior year, that's sad," Rucker said.
He said he was visiting a local high school earlier in the week,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and a young girl told him she couldn't afford to go to the prom.
"As long as I get donations,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I will take care of you,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Rucker said he told the girl. And he knows she's not the only student that can't afford the high school tradition.
